About Bas Bookelmann
Biography
In March 1998, while he was completing his Notarial Law and Dutch Law studies at Radboud University Nijmegen (then still known as the Catholic University of Nijmegen), Bas started work as a notarial assistant and later as a junior civil-law notary at Prick in Groesbeek. He joined Dirkzwager on 1 October 2003 as a junior civil-law notary, initially in the general practice. He was appointed as a fully-qualified civil-law notary on 1 January 2012. Even though Bas has worked in all fields of civil law, he specialises in complex real estate and corporate law matters, with a particular focus on agricultural real estate (agriculture and horticulture) and energy real estate (wind turbines, geothermal installations, solar panels and biorefineries).

Secondary activities
For several years, Bas was the secretary of the Nijmegen Association for Financial Service Providers (Nijfin) and a member of the Junior Chamber of Nijmegen. Currently, Bas is:- the secretary of the Ronald McDonald House Nijmegen;- a member of the 40+ Chamber of Nijmegen;- a member of the Construction Chamber of Nijmegen;- a member of Nijfin.
