About Chantal van den Borne
Biography
Chantal is partner and leads the Banking & Finance team. Within the Banking & Finance team our services include: consultancy on financial services such as regulatory aspects (MiFID II, PSD2 and other banking licenses) and proceedings (litigation) and advice in the areas of duty of care, securities law, consumer credit, fraud cases (for financial institutions), business securities, interest rate swaps and derivatives in general (including class actions). Furthermore the Banking & Finance team represents borrowers in financial transactions (LMA (light) documentation.

Secondary activities
Chantal is a guest lecturer at Radboud University and has delivered training in collaboration with CPO (Centre for Professional Legal Education) and ORS (in-house company). At present, she is working on doctoral research as an (external) doctoral student on the topic of "Consumer Credit Legislation" (a comparison with US law). Chantal is a member of the Institute for Financial Law, the Securities Law Association and the Legal Committee of VFN (the Netherlands Association of Financing Companies).
