Dafne de Boer Lawyer Intellectual Property and IT law

Dafne has been a lawyer since 2017 and specializes in IT and privacy law. Her areas of practice include the following:

• (International) data exchange: mapping data flows and providing solutions for sharing data. For example, within a concerns are or between suppliers and customers. The transfer tools such as the Standard Contractual Clauses and the adequacy decision are central to this. We have developed a Data Transfer Impact Assessment (DTIA) that reflects these concerns.
• Data breach assistance: guidance on and handling of data breaches.
• Enforcement by regulators: guidance and strategic advice when a regulator initiates an investigation or imposes an enforcement measure.
• Cyber security: advice on the incident response plan and participation in the incident response team. With our cyber security team we quickly and competently identify risks and easily scale with external experts, such as IT forensics experts.
• IT contracting: Drafting and reviewing IT contracts, where I assist both IT suppliers and customers.
• Privacy documentation (compliance): review and draft internal and external documentation, such as privacy policies, data breach policies and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA).
