Mart van Braak Lawyer - Senior Employment law

Mart has been working as a lawyer in the employment law department at Dirkzwager since 2018. Mart provides advice to mainly domestic, multinational and medium-sized businesses, focusing on areas intersecting with company law. He has specialized, among other things, in the distinction between the employment agreement and the service agreement. Mart assists with extensive and other restructuring project, mergers and acquisitions and regularly advises on staff representation and transfer of undertaking. Mart also has a specialism in the field of temporary employment and payrolling, on which he has published an academic article with an authoritative professor.

Mart is a member of the Vitesse Business Academy, the networking platform for young professionals of the professional football club Vitesse.

For clients, Mart has, among other things:

• successfully completed several dismissal cases at MT level;
• assisted in several restructuring projects;
• advised on various matters concerning transfer of undertaking;
• completed several due diligence assessments;
• advised on several disputes concerning the (application of the) Works Councils Act (Wet op de ondernemingsraden);
