Close to our cultural partners

Cultural collaborations that foster encounters and connections.

Our Partners

Dirkzwager is closely connected to the major challenges facing our society. This commitment is reflected not only in our daily work but also in our collaboration with the organizations and initiatives we support. Art and culture play a central role in this. They bring people together, offer new perspectives, and keep stories alive.

Our cultural partners and our firm have much in common. We are all rooted in Gelderland but active both nationally and internationally. Introdans and the Phion Orchestra perform on stages at home and abroad; the Kröller-Müller Museum brings together works by artists from around the world; and the Dutch Open Air Museum attracts visitors from all over the world with its display of Dutch history. We also find common ground in the combination of tradition and innovation. We build upon a strong foundation, remain curious about new developments, and share an approach that combines quality with a down-to-earth and pragmatic mindset.

Introdans

Introdans was founded in Arnhem in 1971 and brings world-class dance to a wide audience. Choreographers from around the world create the repertoire, which is performed on national and international stages. Each year, approximately 85,000 people attend a performance. In addition, the company reaches thousands of students, young people, neighborhood residents, vulnerable older adults, and people with disabilities through workshops and educational activities, driven by the belief that everyone can dance.

Dirkzwager and Introdans have been partners for over 25 years. In 2024, we collaborated on our brand positioning, “Dichtbij” (meaning “Close” ). Artistic Director Roel Voorintholt highlighted the similarities between the art of dance and the legal profession: quality, empathy, trust, and the ability to adapt to changing times.

Phion Symphony Orchestra

Phion Symphony Orchestra brings live symphonic music to life. With passion, craftsmanship, and surprising musical experiences, the orchestra moves and inspires a wide audience. With roots in Arnhem and Enschede, Phion builds on a rich musical tradition. From captivating concerts in concert halls to special performances at unexpected venues, the orchestra shows just how versatile and surprising symphonic music can be.

Dirkzwager and the Phion Symphony Orchestra have been collaborating for over twenty years and are constantly finding new ways to strengthen each other. Since the 2025–2026 season, Dirkzwager has been supporting Phion’s chamber music series. A conducting course also demonstrates the connections between music and the legal profession in the areas of leadership, listening, and collaboration.

Kröller-Müller Museum

The Kröller-Müller Museum is an international museum of modern and contemporary art, nestled in the natural beauty of the Hoge Veluwe. The museum is home to the world's finest Van Gogh collection, alongside important works by artists such as Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian and Charley Toorop. The sculpture garden features over two hundred sculptures by artists from around the world.

Dirkzwager has been collaborating with the museum for many years and supports projects focused on education and the preservation of the collection. A recent example is the restoration of Joep van Lieshout’s Mobile Home for Kröller-Müller. The work raises questions about housing and construction, topics that also play an important role at Dirkzwager.

Dutch Open-Air Museum

The Dutch Open-Air Museum in Arnhem tells the story of daily life in the Netherlands through authentic buildings, artifacts, and personal stories. Founded in 1912, it is, with over 100 buildings and more than 150,000 objects,
one of the most visited museums in the country.

Since March 2025, Dirkzwager has been supporting the House of Memories. In this traditional Dutch home, older people with dementia and their caregivers are surrounded by familiar objects, scents, tastes and sounds from the past. Trained facilitators guide the activities, encourage participation and help participants recall memories.
