The Liability and Insurance department mainly provides advice and litigates for insurance companies, their insureds and for businesses.
We are active in the following area’s (amongst others):
- Liability law: general liability for businesses, professional liability, government liability, traffic liability, product liability, medical liability and liability in the construction sector;
- Compensation law: estimation of damages in various cases, such as personal injury or death, business interruption or damages incurred by self-employed persons;
- Insurance law: assessment of policy conditions and coverage-related questions and disputes.
Other services
Is your business or (non-profit) organisation faced with a claim for which you are not insured, or for which the deductible is too high? Or would you like advice on the assessment of an insurance portfolio? In that case, we will gladly represent your interests. We also conduct legal audits in the context of mergers and acquisitions, and provide advice on insurance-related issues, such as risk management.

We combine our legal expertise and knowledge with a pragmatic approach for the best results. This includes good reachability of our attorneys and swift feedback to the client. We always act in close consultation with the client and we provide an estimate of the success rate and a cost-benefit analysis in advance. Litigation does not always have to be the most suitable solution to a dispute.
