Marieke joined Dirkzwager in 2018 as a candidate notary in the Government & Real Estate section. She obtained her bachelor's degree in law and her master's degree in notarial law from the University of Utrecht. Marieke completed her Professional Notarial Training in 2022. Since then, she has been an acting notary.
Marieke has her focus on commercial real estate, where she has gained experience in advising clients on complex real estate transactions and drafting and reviewing legal documents. In particular, her practice consists of assisting with transfers of property portfolios of housing associations, conducting due diligence investigations, establishing mortgages and other rights in rem.
Marieke is client-oriented and takes a precise and careful approach. She knows how to keep a close eye on complex transactions with different timelines and ensure that the team stays well connected.
