Biography
Merel has been working as a lawyer in the Government & Real Estate section since 2019 and specialises in procurement and construction law. She assists (semi-)public authorities and companies in their procurement and/or construction law issues by advising - and if appropriate - litigating. In addition, Merel gives courses to enhance the knowledge of those interested in these areas of law.
Merel's strength is, on the one hand, minimising the risk of problems by drafting good contract clauses at the front end and supervising tenders and projects. On the other hand, Merel equally demonstrates her added value by properly communicating the client's interests and story during a legal conflict, with the aim of achieving a satisfactory result for the client.
