The Mergers and Acquisitions department consists of lawyers and civil-law notaries who specialise in the legal guidance and completion of mergers and acquisitions. Buying or selling a business is a complex process, in which the input of a legal expert is essential. As specialists in this field, we guide your transaction from start to finish: from the letter of intent to the notarial transfer of shares. Civil-law notaries and lawyers work together closely during this process. In the case of acquisitions, the lawyer will mainly represent your interests as the buyer or seller. In the case of a merger, the civil-law notary will act as your impartial advisor. The civil-law notary is also a practical consultation partner for your accountant or tax consultant. We also assist you with legal advice relating to financial legislation. For instance, the WC’s right to prior consultation or the reporting of transactions to the NMa. Begin november 2017 is Coldenhove Papier uit Eerbeek overgenomen door het Amerikaanse, beursgenoteerde Neenah Paper. De families achter de Nederlandse papierfabriek stelden een aantal bijzondere eisen aan de overname.
